SAVE PROMPT -- WHILE I WAS AWAY
Resume CTE project work inside Album 1:
Threshold.
We are preserving the current song concept
for Track 2: "While I Was Away."
This song belongs early in Threshold and
currently holds the second track position. Its
purpose is to follow Track 1's ignition by
moving into perceptual return. The core lived
experience is:
warmth of sunlight on an otherwise brisk
day
stepping inside to work
time passing unnoticed
stepping back outside into a world
already changed
now it is gentle rainy night

## Page 2

smell of rain
colder air
frogs
low motor hum
irregular raindrops
sound on concrete
sound on leaves
Core Threshold function: This song teaches
that the world changed while the self was
away from it. It is not about dramatic
collapse. It is about quiet perceptual
revelation, sensory re-entry, and learning that
existence continues becoming beyond our
attention.
Use this as the active guardrail: The song
must stay experiential, sensory, and open
enough that any listener could become the
one stepping back out into that changed
world. It should reveal change through
perception, not through heavy explanation.
Current role in Threshold: Track 1 ignites CTE
awareness. Track 2 ("While I Was Away")

begins inhabitation and perceptual return.
Resume from this state without replacing the
core sensory spine.

While I Was Away -- current full working lyrics
I step out into the night
soft tapping of rain on leaves
the smell is in the air
harder rhythm of water hitting concrete
motors hum
headlights pass
the world keeps moving
frogs sing to the night
[music swells]
a passing thought
what happened to the warmth of the sun
on this brisk spring day
it seems like I was only inside for a moment
I know I was working
I know I was doing something
papers
screen
light
room
chair
desk

## Page 2

what did I do
what did I forget
what happened to the day
I remember the warmth of the day
the feel of the sun
the chill in the air
Breeze in the night
soft tapping of rain on leaves
the smell is in the air
harder rhythm of water hitting concrete
motors hum
headlights pass
the world keeps moving
frogs sing to the night
the world changed while I was away
